Hello everyone,
So I started traveling mainly to pay off my student loans and i would like to make that happen a bit faster by traveling with another nurse or other travel oriented medical profession to cut rent/living costs. Has any one had good/bad experiences doing this. I figure I can do anything for 3 months if it doesn't work out.
P.S. if anyone is interested I am currently traveling in Wyoming and will be here until the end of June. Afterwards i was looking to go to Seattle, if i can find a place that has reasonable rent which seems unlikely, otherwise id like to go to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, or Montana.
P.P.S if anyone has any resources or experience with places to stay in Seattle, any information would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Brian W.

Hello Brian,
Recruiter here! There was actually another post on this forum talking about how to save money while traveling, I'm not sure if it would be an ideal situation for you. However, I would definitely check it out as it has some really good tips and tricks for travelers.
From my experience working with two nurses for the same travel assignment becomes somewhat difficult because you have to find a location that is needing 2 travelers at the exact same location. Then you have to be able to get them both a job at that location so it may narrow down your chances drastically. My advice is to check out the Facebook groups I have listed below, they may provide some assistance.
Traveler Talk - General travel talk information, might be able to find housing or a travel buddy here.
Wanderlust Travelers - Same as above.
Gypsy Network (Housing, Travel partners, etc.) - The main page is exactly the same, but they have very specific sub pages that are dedicated to housing or travel partners.
Travel Nurse Buddies - General discussion and help in traveling with another
RN Travel Buddies Match - linking up with other nurses to travel together.
I hope this information helps you a little, best of luck on your travels!
