Hi everyone,
I took my CNA class and passed my certification exam last year in April. I applied for several hospital jobs (because that's what I wanted) but they never worked out since I had no experience. Long story short, life kicked in and got in the way. Dealt with some hard issues. Now here I am, still so anxious to start working. I have the book from my class that Ive been using to review and refresh. I have found videos on YouTube to watch to brush up on my skills.
I plan on applying at some of the LTC facilities here but I'm concerned because so much time has passed. Will anyone want to hire me? Am I wasting my time?
Words of encouragment and advice would be wonderful right now.
Thank you!
Dondie

Yes, go to local LTC facilities. I know lots of people who aim only for hospitals but I'm sure a LTC facility would have hired you soon after you passed the exam. LTC facilities are a great way to get your patient experience also.
Thank you Sam!
