Hi I have stipulations just starting my 2 year probationary period. I did get turned away from quite a few places I even had a d.o.n at one of the interviews start of very nicely then as soon as I mentioned stipss she pulld them up. Read through it and then took my app, placed it face down and said I hope you learned your lesson. But by the grace of God and with alot of prayer right after that interview I got a call from another place. I was hired and started that same day. Its difficult but very possible. Keep your head up and dont give up.

When the Board is involved it will be very difficult. I have nothing on my license and it took me over 8 months to find another job after being fired (for a non drug related incident). In fact, due to being fired IPN determined that it was due to "poor judgement" and I was refrained from practice until I had another fitness to work eval with an addictionologist. They are even getting rid of eval drs that don't give the participant the eval they think is firm enough. Now tell me that's ethical. Beware of seeing drs for evals that also work for treatment centers. Can you say conflict of interest?!?
