Hi All,
I recently relocated from South Africa to Adelaide, South Australia (on a 190 visa) with 8years postgraduate experience practising as a Registered Nurse. I completed my bridging course a year ago and I am fully registered with AHPRA/NMBA. I have been applying since January for an RN post with both SA Health, Hospitals and Agencies. All of them are insisting on minimum of 1-year of paid Australian experience. Volunteering is not considered... This is so frustrating. Where do I get this experience from? Wasnt the bridging course meant to address this? Did anyone experience this and how did you overcome it? Thanks in advance.
