Has anyone received information as to the grant money that we were told by Tulane personnel we would be getting? I spoke to OLOL financial aid department this morning and they know nothing about it. However when I went for the CPR class the nurse in charge (MCsomething, tall, short blond hair- can't mention names) told our class that Tulane has been given $6,000.00 per student to pay for the program (grant) and that they may be getting the remaining $5,000.00 from another grant. Does anyone have any information on this? OLOL college asked me to tell Tulane to send them the information! ok

In the past Tulane only offered a stippend, the $6,000 grant is from the WIA. Each student can get up to $6,000 per semester but not entilted to the full amount. I think the least ever offered was $2,000-$3,000, so you should get a fair share, how much depends on the budget.

i am thinking the school has an atrrangement with couple of hospitals in which case scholarships are given to students, then when they graduate, they have to work for a certain duration per a contract they sighn before benefiting from these scholarships. has this changed?

OLOL told me that Tulane wasn't offering any stipends for the spring 2010 semester.
