Welcome to the site
Are you a USC otherwise may take her a bit longer than 7-8 months to get a visa. Best place to start is the sticky called Primer to working in the US. Everything is there that you need to know on what to do

Adding on to what Anna has stated, be aware that she will not be able to begin work immediately when she arrives in the US on the K-1 visa. She is still going to need to go thru another meeting at immigration before she will even get her SSN#. And also be aware that you will have only 90 days to get married in, or the visa that she came on will be cancelled.
In order to write the NCLEX exam, one needs to go thru the licensure process and this is taking four months plus to get approval to even be able to sit for the exam. She may just wish to wait until she gets to the US to write the exam, she will have plenty of time to write it when she gets here while waiting for her documents that will permit her to work. They do not come instantly on arrival to the US.
Best of luck to the two of you.
