Hello! I have been doing some research regarding my school loans I have found some information about the Nursing Education Loan Repayment Program (NELRP) as an incentive to practice in "critical shortage areas." Does anyone have any information regarding this program? What would qualify as critical shortage areas? I've been trying to find a list, but haven't yet.
As always, thanks for any help!!
No one has any info!! Maybe I just posted it in the wrong area?

I remember finding it one time, but I can't recall where. I want to say it was a state website. If I were you I'd just google it for your state and go from there.

If you search for the program on google, the HRSA's page for it should pop up: NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program | Bureau of Health Workforce
Then the program guidance packet is here: https://bhw.hrsa.gov/sites/default/files/bhw/APG_FY2017_Nurse_Corps_LRP_Final-508C.pdf
The program guidance packet seems to explain what would count as a critical shortage facility and a lot of other info about the program.
This perhaps is the way to search for the CSFs? HPSA Find
Thank you so much! I will look into that! I did find that like the amount of money you get is based on the score the critical shortage area has. I also found one thing on the site that you could look up specific areas, but it seemed a little confusing. Hopefully your links will be more helpful!! Thank you very much!
Does anyone work in a critical shortage area? Know what it's like. For example, will there be a reasonable nurse-patient ratio or would I be overloaded?
