Does anyone else read posts on AN and think to themselves, "They are speaking another language! There's no way I'll be able to learn all this information!" ? This site has given me quite a bit of useful information:yeah:, but at times, it really intimidates me!

Getting my degree in nursing has been the most difficult time I've ever had in school. However, don't be too worried! You get into routine and the fear subsides a bit. I've gotten so much support from everyone here that I look to this site for feedback, support, and advice. I've also learned from other peoples mistakes.
I'm just about finished and I still 'fear' nursing school and all of those hoops you have to jump through. UGH

I was in your shoes not even three months ago you'll learn everything you need to while in school...enjoy the time that you have now not trying to scare you but it will keep you on your feet and allocate your time properly and effectively and you will be fine....

You will be shocked how quickly you will pick up things! When you start NS you are completely immersed in the culture and you catch on to the lingo and situations pretty quickly. Hang in there, let yourself get started and about half way through your first semester look back at some of the posts - you will be completely stunned at how all of the "greek" has become english!!

I used to feel the same way reading these posts! Dont worry, though. It's not as scary as you think its going to be, and you pick up on things quickly!
