Fear of failing Nursing School

Published

Hello! I am in the nursing program for the 3rd time and fear of failing clinicals. I went into the RN program out of high school with 17 credits..let's just say I didn't pass. I returned and made it to the 2 semester and missed the final by 3 points. Now I am in the LPN program in my second semester (I skipped the first because I had credit) and I am passing the class..it's just clinical. I have two clinicals left (one on the floor and one in a specialty area) for the semester. My clinical instructor (whom I don't think likes me) told me yesterday the if she doesn't see improvements in these upcoming clinicals then we would have a "big problem". I am trying as hard as I can in clinicals and it just doesn't seem to be enough. I am under tremendous stress to pass and I am scared of failing. Any advice?

Did you ask any of your instructors from both school what you are doing wrong? Where do you need improvements? Also have saw what the classmates that are making great grades in clinical are doing to pass and ask for some advice?
