Hello all! Hopefully all of you out there accepted to the Fall 2009 RN program at FCCJ will join me on this thread so we can help each other out. I went today to get my pants and found some of the white ones (come in petites and tall with flared legs and slits to fit over our shoes, Cherokee brand, $13.99) at Uniform Outlet at the St Augustine outlet mall. They also carry the pocket organizers (with flat scissors and pen light included), stethoscope (inexpensive ones, so they may not be of the quality you are looking for) and all the BP cuff things we need.

I am waiting until orientation to order my polo and uniformed top so that we may be able to try them on. Does anyone know what is included in the skills kit and if they will be available at orientation?

I am getting excited and can't wait to meet everyone!

My techniques isn't up yet but yes concepts is 1 and 8. I don't know if each instructor is the same schedule and I am in section 1. Pharm is a lot of reading chapters 1-3 and 10 & 11.

the code they sent us is the course. U have to register to get ur user name n password.

I got an email from Evolve saying "your insructor has enrolled you into Evolve, below is your user name and password". I didn't have to register at all. I wonder if we are all supposed to be getting our user name from the professor, or if it just depends on what professor you have if they do that or not.

I entered the username and password given to me in the email is said login error and would not work. Has anyone else experienced this?

when u 1st get to evolve website i think you have to click on add new course and thats when u enter the code given to you in the email and then it will have u make a username and password. They dont send you the user name and password you create it

If I rem correct I put in the password and it let me through, I never had to register I was already in the system! Are you all ready for the tests tom?

I called tech support. We are already enrolled per our instructors and we do have to use our username and password they sent us to enter the site. HOWEVER, the other "passwords" are actually course codes, not the key you need after the licensing agreement to enter the content. That has to be ...bought with the internet portion of the Med Term Book package. I did not have it b/c I did not buy the box, so it looks like I am busting out my credit card AGAIN!

They did not tell us to at orientation so I figured they would have if we were supposed to. I went up to campus last week to pick mine up and CJ told the girl at the desk to tell not pass out the rest until the students came for their degree audits, and to my knowledge there were still several there so I don't even think everyone has them yet. I was not planning on wearing mine.

what do we wear to class tomorrow? do we have to wear closed toed shoes on the first day?
