Hi---I dont know if I am allowed to ask this favor or not, so moderators if I am in violation of something please just delete this thread~~~

Ok here is my favor--one of my dear friends graduated in May, has yet to receive her ATT. She sent her paperwork in before graduation so my assumption is they put her app on the bottom of the pile waiting for the school to send in their part~~Long story short, she has yet to get her ATT. She plans on calling State again tomorrow and just staying on the phone till they find it....but of course she really wants to take Nclex ASAP. Historically in our area, the Pearson vue testing center in Toledo OH always has openings with very short wait times to take Nclex vs Indianapolis-Ft.wayne and or Lansing, In fact a handful of Spring grads have already taken their test in Toledo. With out an ATT you cant even log on to see the dates open.

She is home studying her Saunders book now and would like to know if Toledo has dates open in the next few weeks---can anyone that has an ATT log onto Pearson Vue and see if in fact Toledo has any openings or if they are full with the Spring grads now. and just post or pm me if they do and I will pass this on to her.

Thanks much and best of luck to those of you who are preparing now!!!

I went online and looked and there are no opening in Toledo until June 19 or later. Hope this helps.:typing

hey racing mom, i also graduated nursing school in Toledo this may and i was waiting impatiently on my att and so i finally called the boards about 50 times before i got thru as there call volume is ridiculously huge. But when i talked to them they said they were just waiting on my schools letter saying i passed. But lo and behold at the end of that day i got my ATT. so call it coincidence or them having a lot of work and only prioritizing the ones who call in I can't say can leave that up to you. so i would definitely call and just make sure that they are waiting on the school and if so the att should be on the way in the next few days. so to give you a time frame i got my att last Tuesday the 20th and i tested yesterday the 27th. still waiting to here... wish your daughter the best hopefully she can get in and pass them

hi racing mom... it seems as though the person you know and I are having the same problem. my letter from school was mailed on may 13 and I STILL do not have my ATT although every other one of my classmates does.

the problem? the ohio board LOST the results of one of my background checks and never bothered to tell me. in DECEMBER!!! i have been waiting and waiting and waiting for the ATT only to be told by pearson that im not eligible and i need to call OBN. i have been calling and leaving messages and sending emails to find the problem since last friday. im having a huge problem believing that they are sooooo busy that no matter what time of day nor how many times a day i all that NO ONE answers the phone. i have called over 100 times (literally) and ONCE a real person picked up the phone... and im thankful for that or i would not know that they "never received" my one background check. i was then directed to call the place to find out when the results were going to be sent, and i was told that they were send in december and that OBN apparently says they "dont get stuff all the time." the woman at the FBI emailed the results to OBN the same afternoon i talked to her (wednesday of this week) and i have yet to be made eligible to test.

i have been calling and trying to contact the person who the results were emailed to with no success. i called every 10 minutes for 3 hours this morning but still no answer. the worst part of this is that my hospital is waiting to know when i will test and i cant even tell them that at this point.

im also very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and responsibility of the OBN right now. They cannot be so busy that it takes over a week to return a message (or an email at that point) and i am supremely disturbed by the idea that i could have still been sitting around waiting for my ATT because no one told me that the information was misplaced or missing.

i know it sounds like im whining and i am a bit because i am supremely frustrated right now. i would just suggest strongly that you try to acutally speak to a human being through whatever way possible to find out if in fact everything is OK or if you are suffering a similar fate. i noticed that last year another new grad had a similar problem to me (look back in the old ohio boards) and i have to wonder what the obn is doing...

thats all i can suggest based on personal experience. i would love to ask for someone to tell me how long i will have to wait for a test date in cincinnati, but im afraid that will just stress me out even more at this point... worst part is that i cant even book my vacation until this whole mess is sorted out.

grr OBN!
