Farting around on Allnurses instead of doing my homework!

Our school was closed friday-which was clinical day. so they gave us an alternate assignment instead of the usual write up and care plan. SO anyways we have to do a 2 page paper where we pick a disease write about the path, signs symptoms, treatment, nursing Dx and how we would care for them. BLA! Well it's not that hard-BUT GEEZ you'd think they would give a student a break? Let us have an inkling of relaxation? NO!!!! MUAHAHAHAHA MUAHAHAHAHA the teachers says!

It's not like I don't have a million other things to do for my classes. Let's see how much we can push the students!

PLease tell me life gets better after nursing school....I am over all this busy work. ALL I DO IS STUDY! Except when I fart around on here :D K I feel better.

Unfortunately the busy work will not get better but you will be able to get through it quicker. I'll never forget my first semester our school was closed due to a snow storm (we got like 3 feet of it) and instead of going to class they did 6 1/2 hours of online instructions. I was stuck in my room having class while everyone in my house was outside sledding.

LOL I'm supposed to be writing a 6 page research paper right now but decided to take a "mental health break" and ended up on AN. Sometimes everyone just needs to fart around! It keeps us sane.

I'm here doing the same thing. I have a complete case study due tomorrow morning. I'm still working on NANDA, NICs and NOCs. I came across this website when I Googled schizophrenia care plan, and I'm still here farting around.

Not in nursing school (yet), but had to deliberately yank myself away from AN (really, had to curtail my computer use altogether for awhile) to concentrate on CNA classwork. And, I'm cringing in anticipation for what nursing school is likely to be like - already have a CS degree, so I at least have some idea.

I have atleast one exam every week! Not including quizzes, assignments, write ups and care plans! Ahhhhh! ready for 4th semester to get here, I am so done with the 3rd!
