Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

I think it’ll be longer since the 19th is a holiday! But the nursing advisor did say the 19th tho

From looking at past application periods it seems that the emails usually go out on a Monday about 2 weeks after the deadline. I'm hoping for the 22nd but am trying to mentally prepare myself to wait as far as the 29th. After that I'm just gonna allow myself to lose my damn mind! lol ?

OH! and I went spying on the transition forum. It looks like they found out a little over a week after their deadline on the 1st of this month. ?

For those wanting to change the rank of you ur school of choice, email the campus nursing dept and request to unsubmit and they will open it back u for you

Maybe my phone has gone completely crazy but I just checked to see when acceptance letters come out for Montgomery campus and now its saying JUNE! It said April like last month.

OMG IT DOES SAY JUNE!!

I went and looked at the other campuses and they still say April. So hopefully it’s a glitch. I can’t imagine Montgomery would wait 2 months after other campuses... ???

At the information session she said within a week. Also since its an extended Holiday, Good Friday and then Easter Sunday, they may send them out prior to Friday. That would be awesome for my anxiety. ? I would also like to know when the orientation is so that I can plan. The website just gives the date and time for Transition track, not Basic track. Has anyone spoke to the advisors about that?

I tried calling around today about orientation for the same reasons ?. First of all, nearly all the phone numbers for Cy fair, Tomball, and North Harris were busy, I finally got through to someone at cybfair and they said it’s typically about two months and much closer to that actual start date. But looking through previous forums for ADN I saw one of the orientations was only like a week or two out from notification date? I was told the dates vary from campus to campus but that is the second time from two different people I’ve been told two months out so I’m hoping someone else on here can answer?

From last year forum Tomball n cyfair had their orientation right before school started but NH had theirs sooner
