Fall 2019 Lonestar Hopefuls

Hey everybody. I'm not sure if it's too early but I'm making this page for anybody who is applying to the nursing program at Lonestar College for the Fall of 2019. Looks like Montgomery, Cyfair, and North Harris have applications from Jan 7-April 12. Good luck to everyone!

We don’t have class that Friday so the office most likely will also be closed . I would call and ask before you make that drive.

I talk to the lady over the phone and she said I need that gpa waiver. It’ll take 24-48 hours ☹️

Wow when i went to NH and talk to the advisor she had it done before i even made it back home! And CF LVN program transferred mine on the spot

just keep checking today im sure It will be done today !

I’ve seen that several of y’all have been posting about giving up your job once school starts; but, I just wanted to share that I was recently hired at 5Star and I think it’s a good job for people trying to earn a little bit of extra money while going to school. It is not a full time and you get to go when you can;however, they do require you to at least show up to work 3 times a month. You get to work at the Toyota Center, BBVA stadium, and several other games places. Just wanted to share, everyone is trying to make it ?and we will

Hi guys! Long time stalker, first time posting. ? It's officially a week until applications close and I keep jumping back and forth between excitement and just pure anxiety. I'm just ready to know either way!! I seriously hope that they tell us before finals, because as of now I'm having the hardest time concentrating in my pharm class. I'm applying to M, NH, T and CF in that order with an application score of 7.824. Best of luck to everyone!!! ❤️

Hey guys,

Hope you all are well. I have another question lol, I'm a lost sheep?. When calculating the score, for the BIOL 2401( is that the A&P with Lab?) and do you just average the GPA like lets say you got an A in A&P but a B in English. would your Average GPA be 3.5? in HCC the A&P lecture and lab is separated so I wanted to know if they are asking for the GPA in lab and lec so 4 hours in total. Thank you so much! wishing you guys luck ?

It should tell you on your score sheet what your over all score is! But yes my school was like that with Sep. lab and lecture and it total me out as a 3.5 as well

I initially got on this forum looking for information about class and clinical schedules and other not so important details like what color scrubs do they wear for clinical. ? I'm just happy to know I'm not the only one freaking out and finding it hard to concentrate on anything else. It's like Christmas night everyday, but never Christmas morning. Lol The 19th can't come sooner.
