JHUSON is working on sending the Accelerated BSN offer letters in the next couple of weeks. They start in June 2005. So I think the traditional BSN fall 2005 will hear a lot later. You could call them up or email them to find out.

Just wanted to let anyone know who was waiting to hear from Hopkins.....they mailed out all of the letters to accelerated students this week. I got a letter today, I am waitlisted however. I guess we'll see! Good luck to the rest of you though.

I got a Fall acceptance letter with a phone call last week. It seems like they prefer to call you the same day that they send out the letter. I hope you hear from them soon. Good luck!
Congratulations! :balloons: Yes! JHU has the personal touch for acceptances. I find that really amazing. Are you going for the traditional BSN or the trad BSN + MSN program?

I got a phone call last week as well for the traditional program. I sent in the $500.00, but I am still waiting to hear from UMB. I plan to go to the Accepted Students Day on the 1st of April, will you be there?
Also, have you heard anything about the JHUSON Merit Scholarships? I know the decisions are made by the Admissions Committee, but would they have mentioned it in the letter, or separately?
Are you still waiting to hear from UMB? Have you made any decisions? I'm thinking that unless something goes horribly awry on the 1st, I'll be going to JHU....maybe.
Good to hear i'm not the only one out there with the questions!
I hope to be at the April 1 new student day. I wont' hear from UMAB till the summer because they have to review my spring grades cuz i don't have 2 of the 4 sciences done yet. (I'm currently taking micro and am taking my a and p's in the summer.)
As for the merit scholarships, the woman i spoke to last week said that those
decisions will be made this week and we should hear from them by the end of the week. Good luck!!!! I hope we both get a phone call!
I am accepted to the traditional BSN program at JHU because I want to become a CRNA which i believe only MD has a program for. Please let me know if you find out otherwise!
Thanks!

I don't know about you guys, but I am so thrilled!! I applied to JHU because my husband encouraged me to, I never thought I'd really get in!!!
I keep telling my husband, "it's not like credit card debt, it's good debt."
Anyway, it's nice to talk to you guys and I hope to be meeting you in a few weeks.
(I usually don't do emoticons, but this one seems appropriate.)

You must have read Suze Orman's book, Young, Fabulous and Broke! She talks about good debt and bad debt. This is definitely good debt!
My husband also encouraged me to apply! (Yay for the confidence they have in us!) Although i did it as more as a back-up to UMAB I think it will be my #1 choice if i get a scholarship since it has the acute care specialty that will hopefully help me with my acceptance into a CRNA program.
Can't wait to meet you the 1st!
