I had my state test today and I failed the skills portion. I don't know what I got wrong because the place I took the test at was 2 1/2 hours away and they said that I would have to come in to find out because they don't mail it out. I feel stupid because everyone said it was easy and I failed. I need some encouragement

Don't be yourself up. I know a few people who haven't passed there skills portion the 1st time so you are not alone. I'm sure next time you'll do just fine.

I failed the first time around too and I had been working as an aide at a nursing home for 3 months already. A little embarrassing lol but I got nervous and forgot to verbalize that I was checking the patients I.D bracelet. It happens, they're really picky! Just keep practicing and you'll pass again the second time around.

Hey, I failed the first time too! I've now been a successful CNA for 5 years and I currently work in a lovely hospital. I let everybody thinking of taking the test know that it's difficult and that I failed the first time and to not be discouraged if they fail the first time. What state are you in? Why don't you try to find the skills videos on youtube?

hey hun I wouldn't worry about it, I'm sry you had to drive so far to take your test thought I took mine a little over a yr ago...and some of my mates didn't pass their skills :/ They are crazy OCD when it comes to the Bolded texts. Again, I wouldn't bum over it , just practice on family members. I would have one friend/fam hold the manual checking off your steps while you practice with another friend/fam.
You got this! :3
