75 and failed? please, not me!! i want my RN!!

my gosh, i took hurst, and bought the online review, i quizzed myself and knew the core content very well but! the questions that i got in the nclex i was unprepared for it seemed like. i dont know what to make of it, im just so numb, waiting is the hardest part. i got 75 questions in all. does anyone know someone who got 75 and failed? IM NOT sure what to think or feel!!!!

Welcome to how we all feel. I am starting to think that 75 (even if you pass) is a bit of a curse. Because in our minds, we either "knew it" or didn't. Fully and totally. Who knows. I'm just praying to God, because I need this not only for me...but for my family and all the other plans THEY have. So just find something else to do for the next 48 hours and keep busy. I plan on spending time at the gym and I have to work, so that helps.

I passed at 75. Others have failed at 75.

Just relax and wait on the results, all of seems as if we don't know anything on the test and most of us pass.85% :mad:

I took mine today, and got 75 also. I am really feeling very unconfident right now..i feel like i didnt know anything on that test. I am glad there are others in the same boat..because at least i get some support and encouragement here. All my husband will say is "quit being a b**** and moping. Get over yourself" It makes me so furious that i cant even get support from my family. This will be a very trying 48 hours....

I took my test 1.20.09 and just found out this am that i passed. my comp shut off at 78 questions.

there is ALWAYS hope as long as you havent received the failure letter in the mail. my friend and i took it the same day at the same time. another friend of mine took hers 3 days AFTER me.............they received their license before i heard anything so i assumed i failed. 3 days letter i received mine. just goes to show there is no real logic in how the license or test results are processed.

leaving the NCLEX exam was, i thought, the worst day of my life. i felt HORRIBLE and KNEW i failed.....however, it turned out just the opposite.

STAY POSITIVE until you know its really over. im proof nothing is done in order!

I can perfectly understand what you are going thru. same thing happened to my. took 75 question and failed. but I feel we can do this that's why I'm doing suzzane's plan I suggest you do it to. Don't give up.

I am right there with you. I took mine today 02.03.09 (my birthday, by the way) and the computer shut off at 75 and I don't feel very confident either.

I failed at 75. And passed at 75.

Failing doesn't make you any less of nurse. Doesn't mean you are dumb. It just means you couldn't pass the test this time.

Don't panic until you get your results! GOOD LUCK!

I totally know what you guys are going through..its a pain in the ass but until youre not getting any envelope do your best to relax...
