Failed NCLEX What Next

I failed the NCLEX, I did the Kaplan course, study hard everyday, took hypnosis and prayed. What else is there to do. I feel so horrible and even don't know if I will retake the test or not. I need some input please, I am lost and so depressed right now. Thank you for your input. I am so happy for the people who have taken it and passed, bless each and every one of you.

I didn't pass the first time either So what I am doing is hurst review, saunders, lacharity and kaplan. I am studying like I haven't even took the test. I know it is very hurtful when you don't pass, but you have to brush it aside and move forward. Also you have to be calm when you take it the next time and stay positive. God is with us all and we can do this.

No problem I know it is very difficult to deal with. If you didn't have the lacharity book you really should buy it.

the isbn is 978-0-323-06570-2 the book is called Prioritization,Delegation, and Assignment second edition by Linda Lacharity.

I also failed the first time about 2 weeks ago. Currently I'm focusing on the Kaplan book. Going through very slowly and taking notes on topics and things I"m not sure of.....I have the LeCharity book and the Saunders. I reuped the Kaplan because I didn't make through all the Qbanks so I figure that is more questions.

I'm alternating reviewing the Kaplan book with doing the chapter tests in the Saunders book. Based on an online resource that is no longer listed here but I found an overview on another site. After taking all the Saunders chapter tests; the ones that you don't get a 75% first time through put that on a review of the chapter. So, I have just started so I don't know how many I'll have on the review list....

I'm getting really nervous thinking about taking it again in September or so..but this time I won't be afraid to cancel if I need more time.....

Hi there.. I am going to take my nclex next week too.. I downloaded La Charity book online for free somewhere.. forgot the link.. but maybe i can dig it for you and I found free Kaplan 1-7 question trainers too.. this is the only thing i can do. To search for free whatever is available out of my financial stability. I am doing a self review for a month hopefully I'm gonna make it. Well God speed on your 2nd take and keep on trying. Have faith on Him.

Am telling you i just love this website...this has been my new favorite website, forget facebook....I have been able to get courage and hope after finding out last week that i failed the nclex for the very first time!! I feel like am not alone, i was very embarassed and staying indoors, didn't want to be bothered.....Lets keep each other motivated each and every day! I want to keep the fire burning, i know i have to start from scratch again, after spending about three months studying for the nclex with the ati virtual review, hurst and saunders....Please Lord, help us through this tough road....if we passed nursing school, we can surely pass the NCLEX!!!
