Please Help! I took the NCLEX-RN test for the 4th time and my results again were fail. The first time I got 126, 2nd time 79, 3rd time 265 and the 4th time 265. I find these results disappointing because I study very hard and am up for any suggestions that would help with a pass the 5th time. I did Kaplan review twice but feel I need to change my studying for the 5th time. I have trouble with the analysis questions but am determined to get this.

I am sorry to hear this maybe you should practise more analysis questions, did you complete the entire Q-bank and Q-trainer from kaplan? Because they mainly have this type of ques. You could also try Suzannes plan. Bets of luck

I took the ERI review course in person, which I didn't like, but they also had it online which was very good. I also took the Hurst review, which was also good. I had several CDs from study books that I used and answered questions. I wrote down things in a notebook that I didn't know from the questions. I studied everyday (I did not go to work until I passed my boards) for hours until I took my boards. I listened to the ERI on line several times. I also focused on what I felt I was weak in during school. I studied by myself. Everyone has a different way to study. I hope these tips help. I had 75 questions and thought I failed but it turns out I passed. I used the earplugs they offered so I couldn't hear anything around me that would distract me. YOU CAN DO IT. GOOD LUCK!

Hi,
Just like i was telling other retakers, don't ever give up hope, You can do it. I know sometimes, we feel like we have done everything possibly and there is nothing else.. and when the exam comes, we say: you got to be kidding!!!
at least that's what i said 3 times but w/ GOD's grace, i passed on my 3rd try. If I have passed w/ HIS help and trust me, you can also pass w/ HIS help. Just ask him to lead your path!!!
Lastly, I'm sure you know alot more than you think. But focus on Main things now until you take it again!. For example, ABCs, Endocrine, Respiratory, Gait points, Labs (very important), and main medications. And also, try to read the sticky: On top of NCLEX forum
Sticky: Anyoone up for random FACT THROWING??
this helped me even more. This thread has a lot more than i have never expected.
anyways, good luck & you'll do good. Just trust GOD!!!

Hey I just wanted you to know that you are not alone! I have taken and failed the NCLEX now for the 3rd time. The first time I had 76 questions, the second time I had 205 questions ,and the 3rd time I had 265 questions. We all have to keep our head up and keep going! Here is something that I always read after I get the results:
THERE IS NO GROWTH WITHOUT EFFORT.
You grow by responding positively to change.
Growth means change and change involves risks when
stepping from the known to the unknown.
Your strength and growth will come only
through continuous effort and struggle.
All your growth depends on activity.
There is no development without effort.
Trouble is the common denominator of living.
It is the great equalizer.
Your trials, your sorrows and your grief's will develop you.
Whatever good or bad fortune comes your way,
you can always give it meaning
and transform it into something of value.
Wealth is nothing, position is nothing, fame is nothing.
Who you become inside is everything.
What happens is not as important as how you react to what happens.

Just want to say that your not alone, I did not pass too on 9/18.
Me and my buddies who did not make it this time will dust off the old and start again. Good luck to you.:redbeathe
Angie,
Thank you for such a beautiful poem, it is sooo true. One never knows why certain people are having a much longer journey for NCLEX than others.
