Question. Have any of you ever had any negative findings on your employer reports to the BON. I’m in Mississippi and I’ve been on probation almost a year and haven’t had one til now. I failed to get a second signature when I wasted a narcotic-ambien. I had a clear drug screen. I’m hoping and praying I will be OK. I just sent all of this to the BON . I did talk to my case manager and she said to email her a letter stating what happened and my don is sending her the counseling form they had to do on me. My case manager really didn’t tell me anything other than I may get a letter of concern. Did u ever have any thing like that happen to any of you? I’m just terrified!

I have not, but the reality is... we are only human. They will probably consider if this is an isolated incident or if there have been any other incidents or write ups. I think in your favor that screen was negative.
I sure pray so! That’s the only time I’ve been written up

Did your supervisor tell you that was going to be on your reports?
Yes she did and I saw it on there
So did you two have a conversation about what happened? Did they seem to believe it was a pure accident but said, they’d still have to add it in your report? Are you still working?
Yes she understood it was a mistake But said she still had to put it on there since it asked if I’ve had trouble documenting narcotics. I’m still working there. I had a clear drug screen the next day. My case manager said she wasn’t sure what would happen- said I may just get a letter of concern.
Well we are human and as long as you tested clean and are still working, maybe you’ll just get more time added to your probation? Prayers & positive vibes
Thank u. I’m praying

While I am not saying the OP diverted it is a fallacy that a clean drug test exonnerates you in this type of situation. The reality is that some nurses and physicians divert narcotis because they are selling them for money or to give to someone who can't get them through normal channels or even to save up for a suicide attempt. At this point the case is in the hands of the CM and the BON.
True. Valid point

True. But hopefully they will see that it was only 1 ambien and that selling 1 -esp ambien- is senseless.
