I understand that I can join allnurses on Facebook...but why would I do that??????
There is a prompt in pink at the top of this page that states "we request that you do not post email addresses or identifying information".
Why oh why would I join and provide personal information(even with different settings on FB) when right now I am virtually anonymous right here????
Anyone else wondering this?

I thought clicking on the facebook link just makes you a fan, I didn't think it linked the two accounts.
Usually if I am a fan, my picture is on the fan page or did something change on FB?
Right but it just says you are a "fan" - it does not link to your specific allnurses info.

So my allnurses login name isn't linked to the name of my facebook account?

Your FB info would be visible to anyone on FB, but it wouldn't actually connect your FB profile with any of your AN information. The two accounts would remain completely separated.
No, it just shows that as a member of FB, you are a fan of AN. I don't think it even tells if you actually "belong" to AN.

Becoming a fan on facebook of allnurses has no connection to your user name or identificaton on allnurses.com, unless you yourself identify your user name on the fan page.
