Hi to everyone! I passed the NCLEX-RN (California) on 2009 here in the Philippines but expired on 2012 bec. I don't have my SSN yet. Next month, I will be at California under fiance'e visa & intended to process my SSN (after marriage) for me to have my permanent license card. I just want to ask (since I will fill up again the Application form for Licensure Exam):
1. What address should I put in the application form (as well on the fingerprint card), Is it my address here in the Philippines (as what I've written during my first application) or is it the address where I will stay at California?
2. If I'm already at California, will I still use the hard fingerprint card or the live scan form?
Hope someone could enlighten me on these questions. Thank you so much! :)

Check the nurse registration forum in the world nursing section. There are a few threads on this very subject as it comes up frequently. Good luck

I can't answer your question but I'm just curious, would that mean you're going to take NCLEX again because you didn't have SSN before your license expire?

I hope you are in for a long process. California has been enforcing the concurrent requirement on the nursing application. Many nurses in the Philippines are not being approved to sit for the NCEX exam. If you are starting from scratch...you are in for a long haul.
Thread moved to registration.
thank you so much! I have only read threads on NCLEX Discussion, hope I could find answers on Nurse Registration forum. Tnx so much!
No, Im not going to take the exam again because even though the original application is abandoned & destroyed, the Nclex-RN test result is still valid as what I've read from the threads regarding NCLEX-RN expired pass. I just need to submit a new application for licensure by examination & required supporting documents (transcript directly sent from school, fingerprint clearance & a valid US SSN) to the BRN. :)
