I would say H&S. It is more interesting, esp for the first test. Transitions is a bit boring - history, laws, surveys, nursing theories, ect. But that's up to you. They do not "build" on each other though, so either way, you'll be ok.
Thanks I would definately prefer a more interesting course. Did u use any other study guides besides the recomended books
I used college network module, my nursing foundations from LPN school, and Sanders NCLEX-RN book:)

I just spoke with an advisor at Excelsior today, he advice me to take Transition first. But since I am near my midterm for pharmacology and Micro (PBCC) I think I will do the Health & Safety first in then transition.
Good luck to you!!! which we could study together :)

Take the EC practice exams. They're something like $65, but you get two 100-question tests for that. You can only sign up for the practice exams once you've registered for the actual exam. They are excellent study tools.

A 61 on a EC practice test is not as bad as you think. You probably could take the real test and pass with a C but if you want a A or B. Study a little more. That a pretty good score.
When I did EC. They didn't offer transitions to take before enrolling so I took it last. I took Health safety first. It was not that bad.
