I live in TN, has anyone heard if EC is accepted there? I know I wont have time to attend another classroom after I become an LPN, not with five children and a full time job. Thanks!

This post was helpful for me because im stuck. I signed up with TCN 2 years ago, and did nothing with it. Now Im trying to get it rolling again and its tough. I called to schedule my first test to give myself a dealing line and my A&P test is 460.00!! I thought I included that in my College Network contract but they said I didnt. So....They said when im ready to take my test thats its an Excelsior exam. It got me thinking about a friend of mine and shes going through Excelsior. I think I need structure that excelsior has to offer. I was gonna call them(prob still will) and ask if I can transfer to Excelsior. But is that a whole NEW student loan?

You cannot transfer from a publishing company ineligible to award degrees to an accredited college. TCN is NOT a student loan but a private bank loan. Even if you proceed with what you already paid TCN for (likely customized study guides that may or may not be consistent with EC exams) you still need to apply to Excelsior College, have your credentials assessed, work with academic advising regarding approval to take exams at EC, pay for exams, tuition and fees and the test center fees.... An admissions counselor at EC can advise you

Please call Excelsior College and speak with an advisor. They can help you sort things out. Good luck!
