I just attended The Excelsior College graduation. The new RN's we were the largest group. It felt so good to walk across that stage and here the Dean of Nursing say my name. To all those who graduated, congrats. To those who are still working toward the goal of becoming RN's don't give up.

Aww that's awesome that you got to go to the ceremony! I hope I can make it to Albany for next year's commencement w/all my buddies here :-) I tried to watch it on my computer but the bad weather made it hard.
Congratulations to you on all of your success!!!!! You have accomplished so much and should be very proud! :-)

Congrats Erickadawn!!
Yes you are right! I just want to be able to take nclex after conferral date, prob wont be able to afford to fly back to ny!
Thanks everyone, but if you can go, then do it. It felt so good sitting with the other nurses trading CPNE stories. The Excelsior staff was so wonderful, I really did not likeExcelsior after the CPNE. We earned it, it was really nice.
Why didyou not like them after the cpne??
I was really burnt out, I had to take it twice. Then I got laid off from my joB and I used all the money I had left to pay for my CPNE the second time. My annual fee was due and they disenrolled me for non payment, 3 days before my CPNE. They considered it a cancellation and were going to forfeit my CPNE payment. Luckily my good friend paid my fee the day before I was supposed to go to Albany. I passed but it wasn't a good expeience, before I left.
