I had a heart stopping experience recently, which is really funny now that its over, so I thought it would be fun if we all shared some funny/dumb stories.

I was taking my exam, and inadvertently left my cell phone on the table next to me. I was so focused on the exam, I had completely forgotten about my phone. So naturally i got a call 10 minutes into my exam, and as soon as I heard it, I swooped in and silenced it and put it in my pocket all in one motion. After the 30 seconds of panic thinking that my instructor was going to fail me, I realized that she hadnt noticed, and then convinced myself to continue my test. Afterwards, my friend next to me said that I was faster than spider-man grabbing my phone and silencing it into my pocket LOLLL.

Good times.

I completely slept through a test and my teacher thought i was dead. Literally. She called my phone asking if I was ok and that if I was in the hospital I should get to feeling better. It took my friend coming to my house and waking me up to go take the test. I am NOT a morning person.

Wow your school is lenient! If you sleep through a test at my school, you're SOL.

We had a quiz yesterday and one of the questions was a definition and we had to state the word that belonged to that definition. When was studying for the quiz I was so focused on being able to spell the words in the definition correctly that I forgot to study the word that belonged with the definition. Totally missed that question, I was so mad at myself! I will never forget how to spell necrosis tho!

I was so focused on getting through a final that I didn't notice s/s of hypogylcemia. I'm diabetic and have trouble recognizing symptoms when I'm not moving around. When I realized I'd been staring at the same question for 15 minutes, trying to make sense of it....I raised my hand, instructor came over, I tried to speak, heard the stammer in my voice.....and started crying. Yeah, my BS was 36. Apparently my lunch was less carby than I thought.

This is why I always tell my instructors that I'm diabetic LOL She took one look at my sweaty face and shaky hands, and whisked me away. Since she knew I wasn't faking anything, she had no problem letting me sit in an empty room with some juice and snack till I felt better.

I ended up getting an A on the exam though:up:
