Well, I was moving to another state and my NY license wouldn't transfer, so I could say "After I move." But for you, you're right! Nosey is no way to be! If they want to SUPPORT u, that's 1 thing! But otherwise, just say, "I have plenty of time. Thank you for your support." Maybe that would work??

A coworker of mine graduated around the same time as me and she is not telling anyone when she is taking the exam. She just says soon. That's all, I respect her. Me I have to tell everyone. LOL Which will hopefully explain why I'm acting like an insane person. :)
Soon, that sounds like a good answer

I would tell people that it is stressful enough trying to mentally prepare yourself for something and that you would rather just not talk about it. Tell them that you will be sure to let them know when you pass.

How soon after graduation can you actually take it?
I was told that in my program they set you up with the testing. The week after graduation my school has people come in and do a week long 8-5 study session to prepare for NCLEX. The following week is when most people I have talked to take it. So I am guessing it just depends on when you sign up to take it and that will be provided by your nursing instructors.
