I want to:
1.)Manage my study time better (I have 2 kids, need I say more?) :Crash:
2.) Get better at math as far as chemistry. :selfbonk:
3.) Be more physically active with the kids
4.) Eat better ( a salad full a vegetables at least daily)
5.) Not be stressed out!
6.) Keep my house more organized
7.) Get all A's!
it seems like as semesters go by you just get better and better at being a student, things start to come easier.
Anything you guys are focusing on?

This is a good idea....
1) manage my study time and make better use of it.
2) Make sure to include time for my husband and myself to be together
(date night) with no talk of school unless he asks
3) Focus on not stressing the small things.
4) Do my absolute best so that I won't have any regrets and make sure I
get an A
Good luck to every one =o)

great ideas- thanks all!
Mine are:
1. Join the gym and LISTEN to the trainer so I can lose the 40 lbs I gained since starting college (being an unhealthy nurse just does not sound well to me)
2. Develop better eating habits- get rid of the stress eating and eating on the fly in three seconds flat!
3. Get a decent paying full time job that will allow me some flexibility for school. Somebody needs to pay for school and this house
4. Get more scholarships!
5. Get accepted into fall nursing program
6. Get settled in new home and get storage unit cleaned out as it is an unneeded expense
7. Find rewarding community service opportunities locally
8. Help my daughter see that she is not living up to her best standards and get her away from loser friends before she blows her chances for future.
9. Learn how to keep my house clean and laundry caught up!
10. Learn how to relax more!

I think being less stressed out would be the sum to all of the above, and all of the below. LOL
If I made better grades, was able to do this, and that, managed time better, etc.....I would be less stressed.
If I am less stressed, that would mean I have successfully did all the other things.
Ummmmmm, right now, I am a total stressed out failure. ...Talk to me after Friday...after my Algebra class ends. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I won't be stressed out (as much) then, and I can concentrate on everything else. :)

1) Eat better and exercise!
2) Attend lecture every day! I'm bad with attendance. Oops.
3) Study smartly, not just cramming.
4) Sleep better. Sometimes (like now) I get too amped up and can't sleep, so I go to school with little sleep.
5) Engage in more social activities with friends and the community. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in school.
6) Stay healthy! I just got on the right meds and I hope that I can stay as healthy as I feel right now!
7) Drink more water! This is so important for one of the meds I am on, and I haven't been doing it! So I end up feeling really icky!

Jess, nothing wrong with aiming to get an A. I always set my sights on an A. However, it's important to do your best and accept what happens rather than get all bent out of shape over grades. KWIM?
I'm not pre-nursing but RN to BSN. My main goal is to get started on my studying earlier in the day and plow through without procrastination and dragging it out.
Good luck to everyone in achieving their goals this semester.

Eat better (I'm off of sugar and caffeine but really need to fill that void in my diet with good healthy foods.)
Make time to exercise regularly.
Stay connected with my family in spite of the busy-ness of school.
Maintain my homekeeping schedule rather than slacking off and sitting at the computer when I have free time. Less stress and guilt. Nicer view.
Keep the big picture in mind and not obsess over every test, quiz, paper, or less than perfect score.
Manage my Seasonal Affective Disorder better not only through exercise and nutrition but by sitting in front of my lightbox every morning.

You could probably get some good support from people at church. One thing you can definitely get is prayers.
