Congrats TiffanyLPN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What did you use to study for this exam?
I used Lisa Arends cd's but I only studied for 1 day so I think if I had the cd's way before I tested I would have done better.

Did you download/print/use the EC exam content guide from the EC website? It tells you EXACTLY what to study ... there should really be no surprises on any of these exams. Also, look at the second page of your exam grade sheet -- that will tell you which areas need work for your re-test. Good luck!

Try to focus on the EC content guides, these are the best sources of guiding your studying, if you dont really understand some of the information, you may want to look into other sources that will help you in your way of learning. Some people use (Video Tapes, etc..). The EC practice exams are a good source and will help you in the way of EC form of testing. Reading the rationales helps you to understand the reasoning behind the correct answers and why the wrong answers arent the best choices. Do you have a NCLEX review book? This might help you get started with questionining yourself. Best of wishes with your studying. :)

If you do some reading on the distance forum you will come across posts where people talk about how they prepared for their exams. The first step is to download the study guide from the EC website. Make certain you have all the study resources you want to use, such as the suggested texts, etc. Then make a study schedule after you have made your test appointment. Stick to your schedule. There are other pointers that you can find in the forum. The best one is to get started! Good luck!
