:confused:I did the LPN program in NY, soon after i relocated to GA where i want to do the boards but before i could sit for the boards i have to do an exam of equivalency. Is their anyone that can help me

i would love to help you but i do not know what a equivalence test is. the only test i know to become a lvn/pn is the nclex.

They said before i could sit for the NCLEX-PN i would have to do the equivalency exam because i did't attent a school in GA.

Did the people at the Georgia Board of Nursing tell you this? I haven't heard anything like that.

My information has it that the State Of GA does NOT allow for LPN by equivalency. I took the MA course, which is very similar to an LPN course, at Bryman in Atlanta in the early 90's. Lots of LPN's tell me they got their licenses by equivalency, so I can't be sure who's right or wrong here.
Hopefully, GA has lightened-up on this. I'd be happy to take any test just to see if I can pass it, let alone GET my LPN, which would be fantastic:yeah:.
