Entry level MSN to DNP for CRNA?

Specializes in ICU.

Hello,

In a few years, I will have my MSN and MBA degrees. During this time I will be working full-time and gaining experience at a level 1 Trauma Center in the Trauma Surgical ICU. When I became a nurse I was interested in eventually becoming a CRNA, but over time I became interested in management. My interest is currently going back to CRNA.

I was wondering if there are programs in which you could gain credit for having a non-related MSN in like the theory courses at least and get your DNP in Nurse Anesthesia?

You may get credit for some of the theory type classes but you will need to speak with each program you apply to.  At best you would get credit for 1 or 2 classes but that's probably it.

Okay, thank you!
