Entry level CNA Resume feedback

Published

Hello, I am a new CNA applying for jobs in my area. I was wondering if I can get some resume feedback since this is both my first resume and I have very little work experience in general. I would most certainly appreciate it! Any sort of critic and advise would be much appreciated.

Hi Shyanne!

First you should make sure that your resume is one page or less. It's great that you have all those qualities but you don't have to list them all. You can demonstrate those qualities to the interviewer using examples from your previous employment.

You want your resume to be concise and to the point. I do see that you have no experience as a CNA so you did do the right thing by putting what you did during your clinical rotation.

It would also be great if you have solid references. Did you network during your clinical rotation or have a good rapport with your instructors? Ask them to write you a letter of reference.

Good luck in your search. It takes time but with persistence you will find something. Congrats on your certification!
