Hi am researching different branches and planning to reach out to a recruiter soon

Interested in enlisting and hopefully if I can obtain the AVASB/Job availability do a career on the medical side

Been gung-ho about the Navy but after some internet searching not 100%

So I am planning to join with family and 1 child at the moment. Now I know it's not all about the advancement but finances are important when you have a family. I hear HM has a low advancement rate. I hear a lot of people mention go AF as it's training is the best for transitioning to civilian life.

Now I also read that AF jobs in medical field about 14,000 are being cut. Looking at the AF website it seems to not be as descriptive as other branches sites.

I don't know too much about 68W. Have a friend who is a psych tech, current job I am in, who's made a career in the Army doing this job.

Any feedback or sage advice can offer up?

Appreciate it and many thanks!

Most military medical jobs are being cut in all branches, as the care is being outsourced to private sector providers. You will need to seek out a recruiter for more specific Q&A
