End of semester stress

Published

Hey guys! I haven't posted my own thread on here in so long!

Well, the end of the semester is very near. After this week it'll only be 2 weeks left! .. I'm happy about that, but it also means the stress is on. I've been doing soo well this semster then there's that one class that worries me .. history. My professor is so tough it's ridiculous. She's already said it's absolutely NO way for ANY extra credit assignments so I'm starting to stress because I did not want to make any B's this semester. The lowest grade I've made on any major assignments is an 86, which is not that bad if you ask me. My thing is, I've studied so hard for these past tests/quizzes in the class and keep making the same grade. I'm starting to lose steam now ... it's hard to stay motivated and 2 weeks seem so far away!

Anyone else feeling like this?

I feel exactly the same. I'm doing great in all my classes except English. My professor is a hard grader and I haven't been able to get above an 88 as of yet. So, I need to work my butt off to get A's on my remaining papers and Final to get an A in the class! I know I can do it!

And you can too! Good luck!

On another note, I'm so beyond frustrated with my advisor, I need a PIN from her to register for my Spring '14 classes and she will not return my calls or emails no matter what I do. I'm watching the classes I need to take fill up because of this :grumpy:I guess I will need to march myself and my two kids down to her office tomorrow so I have a chance to get the classes I need.

Yes! I'm so tired but trying to stay motivated! Keep up the good work!

:wideyed:

If nursing school only accepted people who only got A's in every class, finding a parking spot in the morning would be a whole lot easier.

It is definitely hard. We have about 3 weeks left and I am about over it already. I am so exhausted and ready for a month off. It doesn't help that I have been traveling for judo with my son every weekend this month. This is our last weekend of travel until January but it is killing me with my schoolwork. I am ready for a well deserved break. Right now I have A's in everything but I am scared I am going to fail finals and screw up my entire grade.

I'm with you on that. Looking forward to a break. Have above 98% in all classes but one. Last class 1/2% off from A or 3% above, strange grading method. Many chances to edge it up (or down).

I'm right there with you. I have been doing really well this entire semester but somehow now that I am near the end I feel like I have a lot piled up and it seems almost impossible to get through. I'm tinkering on the line for an A in my english class and this final essay will make me or break me not to mention my math final which I am dreading so much .

I am sooooo ready for my micro class to be over! The professor is HORRIBLE. We started with 55 and only about 11 or so are left in lecture and 9 in lab of 24 starters. I am grasping ever so tightly to my "B" and praying I hang on!

I am so ready for this semester to be over.

1. I'm graduating in 3 weeks. o.o EEEK!

2. I'm taking 3 of the 5 pre-reqs required for the ABSN program I want to get into this semester (Anatomy, Micro, and Developmental Psych) and I am SOOOOO over studying.

I have been so lax this past week and I need to my over myself and keep working hard until the end. I have like a 97 in anatomy, a 95 or 96 in psych, and a 79.6 in micro (I HAVE to get at least to an 80.0; he doesn't curve or round grades -_-). Unfortunately, I'm a huge geek and just want to play my video and online games. xD LOL.

I have an 89.9 in a&p II so I hope I can get it into the 90s range for an A range. I have an A- in math and no idea in micro because she never updates our grades online :/
