Emory Nurse Residency Fall 2020

I want to start off by saying I hope everyone is staying safe! I’m currently in my last term of nursing school, I just applied to the Emory Nurse Residency Program fall 2020. I’m stressed about the process in general but with everything CoVID related I’m afraid that I won’t be considered a strong applicant, my clinical for the last two terms has been cancelled and We’ve been forced to do everything online. Anyone else feel this way? Has anyone applied to any residency programs?

Does anybody know the base pay for piedmont ATL vs Emory?

I read from another forum, $26 base page 4.25(eve) 4.50(nights) 3.25(weekends) plus $1 raise after 3-6 months depending on your Competencies and another raise after 12 months

again I read this on another forum IDK how true this is

Hey everyone! I am moving from Louisiana and looking for an RN position in Atlanta, so I wanted to join the discussion. I graduated in May and take the NCLEX June 25th. I got an email back from the Emory program but haven't heard anything from Northside or Piedmont. I have spoken to a few nurses from Piedmont who have said it is a great place to work; mixed reports from Emory; no one from Northside gave me any feedback.

I haven't heard back from Piedmont, does anyone know who I should try to contact for the Atlanta hospital?

What time did yall receive your email about interviewing?

@taybay2020 I haven’t received one yet, they will send something Friday and I’ll schedule my interview at that time

Oh, I meant what time did you receive the email about signing up for interviews? I was just wondering if we all got them at the same time.

June 2nd at 10:30am is when I received the email about interviewing.
