Emory New Grad Nurse Residency Summer/Fall 2017

I applied and interviewed last weekend with Emory for the nurse residency. I'm currently waiting to hear back about an offer. The suspense is killing me!! Has anyone heard back or got an offer???

I also interviewed for the program on Friday, as well. I was told that we should be hearing back from HR by Wednesday or Thursday of this week. But I was told that by the unit I interviewed for, so I'm not sure if it is the same for other units.

Yeah I interviewed with St. Joseph's ED and medsurg and they said by the end of this week but I just wanted to see if anyone had been called yet. Which units did yall interview with? Hope y'all get the job!!

I Interviewed on Friday as well. I interviewed for the whole organ/transplant unit at the University location and a general med surg unit at the midtown location. I received a phone call today from a recruiter with an offer for the organ/transplant unit. Every unit/manager works at different paces, so don't get discouraged! Also, I constructed a 'thank-you email' after the interview and sent it to the nursing managers expressing gratitude for both the time and opportunity that I received through the interview process on Friday. If you didn't send a 'thank-you email', it's not too late--consider creating one and sending it to the appropriate personnel, it might help you stand out! I'm sure everyone did amazing and it's just a matter of playing the waiting game. I can't wait to check back and hear of the offers I'm certain ya'll will receive. Chin up, chest out--we got this!!

This suspense is literally killing me! I interviewed for the Neuro ICU and General Med Surg. Both at midtown.

I got a call on Wednesday with 2 offers from St. Joseph's! Any news from the other hospitals? I have a few friends that applied at EUH and they still haven't heard anything.

I received a call from HR on Thursday, but was at work and missed it. They left a message to call back, and I have twice yet they still haven't called me back. I interviewed last Friday for Pulmonary and Cardiology at EUH. What do you guys think I should do? Did they email you an offer letter? How long do you have to give them a response? I'm hoping they call back on Monday!

I applied March 3rd for ICU (Midtown and EUH) and was told they would be in touch mid March, so anxiously awaiting. If anyone else did, please let us know when contact is made. Sending positive vibes to all of us.:)

Congrats on the job offer!! You are on your way to a great career with a highly respected hospital/program. Are you local or out of state, this question is posed to give all of us info about places to live if we get a job offer from Emory. Thanks
