I am a pre-nursing student, who would like to know the criteria for a Trauma nurse.

well i would think acls, pals, tncc your area micn course would all be required. having the cen would probably be a plus. however, they are juse certs. experience is huge imo!

fortitude? lol! yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...........strength over pain and adversity!!!!!!!! :D

You might want to check with your state department of regulations, or the trauma registry in your state. Is there someone you know working in the ED currently? They might be able to give you some assistance. One more place to check is your local or chosen nursing school. Good luck!
