I am really hoping that someone can help me because I'm scared. When I was about 13 I was diagnosed with bulimia, which I recovered from. But recently I have been doing it again without anyone knowing (I'm now 19). When I was sick this morning, there was blood in the vomit. I'm guessing there was only about a teaspoon full, because with blood it always looks like more than there really is doesn't it? Anyway, does anyone else have this problem?
What should I do?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

As a recovered bulimic, the only advice I can give you is to seek not only medical attention, but psych attention. It is nothing to be ashamed of (seeking professional help) and may be the only thing that will save your life. Blood in your vomit could be from a GI bleed, an ulcer, or an esophageal ulceration that has the potential to rupture. Your life is worth so much more than this. Please see a doctor and be honest with them. It will be a huge relief to get this off your chest and out in the open. Best of luck from somene who has been there and knows you can get through it
