Hello! I lived there a few years ago. The hospitals in El Paso are Del Sol, Las Palmas, Providence and Sierra. I don't know if you live there already, but if you don't that may be helpful. While there, I worked for hospice but had two friends that worked at Providence and both seemed very happy. One worked tele and the other worked peds and picu. El Paso is a great market for nurses! Oh, I forgot the public hospital (Thomason) that probably has the highest wages. I think their per diem wages were around $35-37, but please verify that! Good luck!

Hello Military spouse:

Yes, I'm currently living in El Paso. I also heard that Providence was a pretty good place to work, so thanks for your advice. I'm currently taking an on-line refresher course with the community college and will be doing my clinicals at Providence. Hopefully it will be a good experience and decide to stay working with them. Thanks a lot for your reply.
