El Centro students Spring '06

i know some of us have received our letters so i was wondering who else i will be making this journey with for the next 2 years.

my name is allison shaffer and it's nice to meet you. i know we will all be close because it's a small group. it would be nice to get to know some of you before november 17. :)

You know there were several students who didn't get registered for Spring so they had to go up to the school to see what was going on and one girl was completely marked through the list which, to the school, means she DROPPED!!!!!!!!!!

One of my classmate called me yesterday. She didn't have anything on her eConnect and I told her to call ECC ASAP. I think she missed January 3rd and looked only on 4th. So she might have some trouble now, too.

I have a few pre req, but I took them about 2yrs. ago. So I'm thinking I'm probable going to have to take some of them over, because my grade point average was like a 2.8. So what are all the pre req. you have to have for El Centro?

The pre-reqs are A&P 1, College Algebra, Intro to Psych and Composition I.

Of course, the more support courses you have, the better: Micro, A&P 2, Speech, Developmental Psych, and a humanities course.

I forgot.....I believe ECC is adding 1 pre-req class. It is a HPRS class....a skills class, I think.

I think it's along the lines of a mini-nurse aid-type class to get you familiar with some skills before starting nursing school.

Hey guys -- they finally have our courses loaded onto e-campus (1st semester). When and where do we get the code to enter into it so we can see everything? I just want to take a peek!

I have my lecture on eCampus, too. I think you don't need any code to enter the class page. I have to log in eCampus and click on the name of the class to enter it.

Allison, did you see that there is a 3rd and 4th level psych tab on the lecture page? It looks like we will have psych both semesters.

I thought psych was 3rd only?!?!? I hope it's both semesters because I work psych right now and it could be a possible career for me...

I'm not able to see any of my classes because they haven't changed my incomplete, so I'm not even registered yet!!

Have you guys seen the pharm list for 3rd semester? I don't even know where to start!!!! I miss the drug cards :uhoh21:
