education in Florida... taking NCLEX in California

thanks in advance, for assisting. i do appreciate it. long story short...

i am a Florida resident, at the moment. i graduated from an ACEN accredited program in Florida. i am having family issues out in California... i need to leave ASAP. can i take my NCLEX/boards (apply for my license) out in California? i am planning on living there for a LONG while. thanks again.

simple answer is yes. make certain your school knows that you are applying to CABRN so they can send your transcripts/proof of graduation to the right board of nursing. You can even take your boards in FL before you leave but the results will be sent to CA. Good luck
