Hi all,
I did a quick search and found some very general interview advice, but I'm specifically looking for any tips/tricks when it comes to ED nurse position interviews... I'm sure it's pretty self explanatory ("I learn quickly, I'm very bright, I work well with multiple personalities, I ask a lot of questions, etc.") but just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything... anything ED ADNs and nursing recruiters specifically look for that I might be overlooking? Any questions I should specifically ask?
Many thanks in advance!

Understand how big team work is in the ER! Be prepared to answer questions on prioritizing pt care, dealing with the verbally abusive people and how you would de-escalate a situation, how do you deal with psych patients, communication with physicians, etc.
many thanks for your help! I got the job!! :)
now I just need to pass my boards!

I've worked as a tech in the ED and have a simplistic idea of prioritization and deescalation techniques, hopefully they understand that as a GN I won't know it all but am willing to learn quick! :)
