Are some test sites for the CPNE easier than others?
Thanks!

As far as the Atlanta sites I have heard different stories. I think "easy " is a relative term. Two friends Passed with no problem in the Atlanta area. Another failed once in Atlanta and once in Wisconsin. She had a hard time controlling her nerves. I am testing in Atlanta and I hope I am ready. Of course I still do not have a date, Its been 6 months. Good luck to you where ever you test.

I read another post one time where the poster said it doesn't matter what site you go to, you still have to be prepared in order to pass. If you plan to take a cancellation, then you could go to a different test site than the one you are shooting for, so you have to be prepared for all contingencies. Also, there is no guarantee that the same personnel will be working at the test site when you attend, or that they will be operating under the same criteria or that they might not be in such a forgiving mood the weekend you attend. So, in the end, you have to be as ready as you possibly can be. Good luck.

Has anyone tested in Milwaukee, WI yet? It's a new site...and I have heard "every site is the best site if you're prepared." I agree 100%....just curious about hospital set up, ex. are sinks to wash hands outside pt. room, or inside pt. room? Stuff like that...

Excelsior College Clinical Performance in Nursing Examination -- something you don't have to ever worry about, since you're an RN! Count yourself lucky! It's a very tough clinical exam.

you have to control your nerves and some sites are not as good as others. I tested at southern regional in ga and the site was awful! I was failed for something that I should have not been failed for, I appealed and lost but then I retook it at grady and it was a wonderful experience. They were very encouraging and it seemed like they wanted everyone to pass!

gemini, I think it is the examiners more than the site. I failed at Albany Med and then passed at Albany Med and the experiences were night and day.
