eBooks for RN school?

Published

Any one can think of why I should or shouldn't go Digital with books for Nursing school?

Thanks !

Can't sell ebooks back? That's the only reason I buy the books. I check to see if I can get enough money back to sell them. Some I have kept though. But if you do a little digging you could find out if you'll save more from ebooks or from hard copy.

I think its hard to browse thru them, the light burns my eyes, you can't write notes on them, you can keep a book forever and dont need a pc to look at it or let someone borrow it. you can buy a last years edition book cheap on ebay.

you can highlight in a Kindle. I use ebooks for my graduate program. They are less expensive than a regular book. I rent most of mine.

I greatly prefer eBooks to those 10-lb behemoths.

In addition to portability, they're searchable, and can be made available via DropBox, Google Drive, etc, depending on DRM and/or one's willingness and ability to crack same.
