Umm, thats illegal. No different than free music downloads. If your having problems affording books look into grants or scholarships to make ends meet. If nothing else tell everyone you want cash for school supplies as your Christmas present. Have you spoken with the nursing dep. at the school? I know we were told that there are programs that allow us to borrow used books if we need them.
Good Luck,

Actually, there are sites with free e-books to download, I just strongly suspect that they are not ones that would be helpful in this situation.
When I was taking lit classes I would regularly visit project gutenberg. You can do a google search for free e-books. Ethically speaking, you should only download from sites where it is openly acknowledged that the author promotes this form of file sharing. There is actually a movement among some authors to promote this as a way to increase knowledge and as a way to both obtain and further their fan base.

If any of your textbooks are from the publisher Evolve, go online at evolve.elselvier.com and register your textbook . The site will then let you read quite a few textbooks online (I use the careplan books quite a bit) I don't know if it will let you set up an account without an evolve textbook though.

Check out resources at your school, some of my teachers put reserve copies of the books in the library, other copies are available in the labs, you'd have to do all your reading on campus, but if you're having trouble affording the books (who isn't??) than I'd say go for it, also, check with some of your classmates and see about sharing books, if you share and buy them online you can save a bunch! Good luck, and let me know if you do come across any good sites!
