Ebola and the PHRN/MICN

Good evening guys;

I am asking my pre-hospital and SCTU transport nurses or paramedic nurses.

What is your policy for the Ebola patient. I live in NJ and we don't have an official policy yet. Just curious.

My companies official policy in collaboration with our vendor is that we will not fly any suspected Ebola patient due to the required decontamination of the aircraft as well as adequate isolation of the pilot during flight. The required decon time would take our aircraft out of service for to long, much safer to go by ground.
