Eastwick College or Jersey College?

Published

Hi has anyone tried out eastwick college in nj or jersey college in teterboro for the RN program? I am trying to figure out which would be the best to go to?

I did Jersey College LPN to RN program. I was there a few months before the pandemic started then we went virtual.  It was a little hectic because they literally had to create an online option in a short amount of time. But it was a good school.  Creating a study group with some of my classmates really helped me.  There is a exit exam, I was able to pass on the first try however many of my classmates did not. You must pass in order to be cleared for the NCLEX.

Hi!

I am in the same program. Feeling discouraged. What resources did you find helpful?

Thanks,

Ang

Starting at Eastwick in October for LPN to RN. Did you decide which school you wanted to attend?

Hi yes I am currently in Eastwick I started January this year

Nice! How are you finding the program to be? I'm about to take the fundamentals exam to enter the program.

Did you have to take an extrance exam? I'm still waiting for they to look over my transcripts and tell me what exam I'll have to take. I want to start studying already but not sure what to study for.

Hey! No I did not have to take an entrance exam just a fundamentals exam on ATI. I would start practicing ATI questions on fundamentals of nursing. There was no med surg or pharm questions on it. Hope that helps.

Hey! The program is fantastic. You definitely need to dedicate time to studying. The program is very thorough and the instructors are helpful. I just wish I would have started sooner! Most, if not all, of my classmates either work part time or do 2- 3 shifts a week at work. Hope this helps and good luck!
