Just got my acceptance letter last week! Anyone starting the program this spring? And anyone out there with advice on this program? I'm super excited/nervous!

I graduate from that program this coming May and I absolutely LOVE it. The teachers are excellent and don't hesitate to use them as a resource. The main thing is to study up on dosage for orientation, you get 3 tries but from experience-it's nerve wracking to take it again. Start during your first semester doing NCLEX style questions based on the material you are covering. First semester is a lot of information about the basics of nursing but if you study hard you will have no issue. You will have class representatives that go to a meeting with other students/faculty members at least once a semester. Tell them if you have issues because those meetings are a fantastic way to air grievances in a non-threatening atmosphere (I've been a class rep since first semester and have never felt that I was being talked down to or ignored in our meetings). It's a difficult program but if you work hard and use everything you are given, you can do it! If you send me a message on here, I'll be glad to give you my EKU email address just in case you have any questions or need any more advice!
