Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone else is still waiting to hear back from the schools they applied to?
I am hoping for a January 2014 start, and acceptances go out end of September. I just wrote my HOAE test and I am hoping I hear back soon and get in!!
Anyone else write the HOAE test recently? If so, how did you do?
I ran out of time on the one section and it wouldn't let me finish all the questions so I really hope that doesn't affect my score. I emailed the college and the admission guide said there is no right and no wrong answer...it only accounts for 50% of whether I get in and as long as my highschool grades are high enough it may bring up my average.
Looking for anyone else in the same situation. Please share :)

I've never heard of the HOAE test, but I'm waiting as well. Seems like waiting is the hardest part. I hope you get in!

Yep! I just finished my last pre-req this month and now I have to wait until November to find out if I make it. I also have never heard of an HOAE test...what is that? The school I have applied to uses the Kaplan test along with an interview, hand written writing sample, and of course grades from pre-reqs to choose only 30 of the applicants. STRESSFUL!! Good luck to you!

Yes! I'm applying to a spring 2014 BSN program. I just got my TEAS score back so my application is now complete! I'd imagine I'll find out sometime in November.

I applied in March for a spring 2014 start. We had to take the Kaplan test. I should find out in the next two weeks if I got into the program. I am very excited and nervous!

Waiting here too. This is my last week and i am so so so nervous. Letters go out for us on Sept 1/2nd so Ill know by the end of the week with any luck. I've already been accepted to one school for next fall and possibly wait listed for the summer prior to but I really want this acceptance to keep me from having to move across country back home for a while. Theres only 16 seats and appx 60 to 100 applicants. Tiny percentage in my opinion and I havent heard good things at all except from the nursing staff at the school... but not from previous applicants. I don't know what I'm going to do if this letter is a rejection letter Been trying to prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and leave it to god and all of my hard work. Happy waiting everyone.

Only 16 seats and 100 applicants? Ouch. Good luck!!!
There are about 20-30 seats (depending on the #of nursing teachers) and 200 applicants for the school that I'm applying for. Hoping for the best.

I would love either of those odds! My school typically receives 700-900 applications for 125 spots. :/
Holy crap!! I think our BSN program gets maybe 125 apps each semester & 80 seats are chosen. Do you only have admission for fall? Our program is available all 3 semesters so I'm thinking tgats why it's not a huge amount. Fall is the most competitive historically since nobody wants to go in the summer.
My program is somewhere in the middle 300-400 applications a cycle at 100 seats at one location, 40 seats at another. They have 2 campuses, luckily I'm applying to the Urban one so they accept more people.
Yes, they only admit in the Fall, and just the one campus.
