Hello! I made this group for anyone that is planning to apply for Duke's ABSN/pre-licensure nursing program for the Fall 2025 cohort. The application opens up on October 1st, so I just wanted to make this group now so we can all chat, support each other, and document our journey of applying and (fingers crossed) getting accepted 🙂

Hi I'm also planning on applying! Have you applied to any other ABSN programs or have any others in mind?
Hey! I was planning to apply for unc chapel hill's absn program, but their requirements for when pre-reqs need to be complete is in December, and I don't plan to complete my last pre-req until the Spring, LOL. Elon is another absn program I will be applying to!

I applied to one out of state and I was looking into Northeastern in Charlotte as well. I wish you the best of luck and that you get accepted into your top choice!
Have you been able to apply online to Duke? My application is only allowing Spring 2025 still.

Hey, were you able to find it? It's no longer the ABSN program, and it's now a MN (Masters Nursing) for Fall of 2025 (: let me know if u still need any help!
Hi! Yes I found it, thank you!

I'm attending an information session tomorrow night via zoom, I'll find out! I have a lot of questions regarding the new program.
Have you guys applied? I'm so nervous about if my personal statements are professional enough LOL

I did apply! I'm also a bit worried but I guess we'll see! The informational meeting said around February or march is when we'll know if we've been accepted.

I'm curious about how many applications they'll receive with this being a new program, and a lot of people not being familiar with masters entry programs
